Tsunan Sunflower Field
About 500,000 sunflowers in full bloom!!
In the middle of expansive fields is the impressive sight of a veritable ‘Sea of Sunflowers’ basking in the bright summer sun in what has now become a summer tradition in Tsunan.
The field covers over 4ha and is divided into three parts that have been planted at different times to make the season last as long as possible, running from the end of July until the middle of August.
Tsunan Town celebrated its 50th anniversary, and as a result of a poll of the citizens, the sunflower was chosen as the flower of the town.
