Agricultural and Jomon Experience Center Najomon

This is an experiential learning facility for agriculture, Jomon, and the folklore of Tsunan. There are seasonal exhibits as well as practical experience programs such as pottery, weaving angin (an ancient material), bead making, straw weaving, paper making, flower dying and ceramic arts. Within the facility there are displays of artifacts that have been excavated in the area and some of these you can actually handle.
There is plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature and experiences outside in the vast grounds too, such as the Jomon hamlet which has a reconstruction of seven of the pit-style dwellings of the period, a large sunflower field and beech forest.
